After a couple of delays Chris Brown's sophomore album finally saw the daylight and it's time for a review. His first effort was a nice one but I'm questioning his latest album. All and all it's oke, but it's just not what I expected. The album opener ''Throwed'' produced by B.Cox has a nice banging beat, and contains some nice vocals from Chris. It's a nice opener for the album. Chris is currently enjoying his current succes with the second song on the album ''kiss kiss''. I have to admit, I wasn't imediately blown away by the song but it has grown on me I'm listening to it every day now :P. Chris obviously used the same synthesizers, at some parts of the song, as T-Pain on his vocals, which is nice if it's only used on this track since T-Pain is featured. Track number three is the much talked about ''Take You Down''. I guess Chris is ready to show the world he has matured an ready to sing about sex, I personally think he should have waited until his next album, but hey who am I to judge. I have to say the lyrics and production from the Underdogs are very, very nice. The next track on the album is called ''With You'' produced by stargate and the confirmed third single. About the song, put ''irreplaceble'', ''good girl gone bad'', ''so sick'' and ''tattoo'' in a blender, sprinkle it with some Chris Brown Flavor and you got it. Stargate has got to step up there game if they wan't to keep making hits cause this sound is getting boring. The vocals are nice and it shows that his vocal ability has improved. ''Picture Perfect'' is next on the list produced by the talented Will.I.Am and Chris himself ( I didn't know he could produce...lol.). I don't know but this song could perfectly fit in Will.I.Am's ''Songs About Girls''. The song is allright. Next is ''Hold Up'' which is a standard song, not really interesting to me, nice production though. Were coming to a much better part of the album now, for example the song ''you'' written by ''The Dream'' this song is just great I was really hoping his album would contain more of these songs. Songs that are alike the second part of the album are: ''Help me'', ''Damage'', ''I wanna Be'', ''Lottery''. If his album was more in the likes of these songs the album would have been amazing!!!. By the way ''lottery'' is definately a standout track. There was some confusion about who produced the track, some sad it was Timbaland, some sad it was The Underdogs. Well it turned out to be The Underdogs, but I've gotta admit the song is definately a song that could have been produced by Tim. The Underdogs must have been listening a lot to timbaland produced songs....:P. The album also contains two songs produced by Swizz Beatz, the first one being ''Wall To Wall'', and the second one '' I'll Call Ya ''. We all know what happened to ''Wall To Wall'', but the second one is nothing like the previous mentioned song, it is much above ''Wall To Wall''. I really like It.

The album could have been much bigger If it had more songs in the likes of ''Take You Down'', for my feeling it's just jumping from banging club beats to R&B songs and back to Pop tunes. I apreciate that he is experimenting with different styles, but he's gonna have to come stronger with his next album.
